I’m Angel L. Alvarez, a veteran coach and mentor dedicated to guiding former military personnel toward a fulfilling life beyond their service. With over 21 years of devoted service in the Army and 23 years in the U.S. Postal Service, I've witnessed countless veteran's challenges during their transition to civilian life. Drawing from my journey of personal growth, I founded Soldier on a Mission with a clear vision – to empower fellow veterans on their path to success.
I know what it’s like to feel lost, lonely, and depressed after leaving the military. I know what it’s like to struggle with finding a new direction, career, and identity. I understand what it's like to face financial challenges, family issues, and mental health problems. I’ve been there, and I’ve overcome them. And I want to help you do the same.

Soldier on a Mission began in 2020 as the brainchild of Angel Alvarez. When reflecting on his journey of personal growth after serving over 21 years in the U.S Army and 23 years in the U.S. Postal Service, he recognized a significant gap in services available to new veterans.
Servicemembers transitioning from military to civilian life needed comprehensive support and guidance, yet the existing services fell short of delivering the personalized mentorship they required. Determined to address this need, Angel founded Soldier on a Mission, which continues to be driven by his empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by veterans.
